Hello Everybody -

On this day, with all that's currently going on in our nation's capitol, I thought it would be a welcome relief to lighten up just a bit. So, in the spirit of fun, here goes:

By all accounts, the current television season is a bust, with many new shows failing and older show losing viewers. Broadcast and cable executives and producers are already working to come up with midseason replacements. Oddly enough, many of the programs seem to have a common them. We have obtained a copy of the preliminary schedule:

(CNN) Impeachment '98. Some people say the president should be impeached; others argue the contrary position.

(MSNBC) The Big Impeachment-Berry Show. Various people demand impeachment. Others demand an end to the impeachment.

(Fox News Channel) Impeachment, Dammit! People demand impeachment. May be simulcast by RealityCheck, complete with live, on-line dialogue.

(NBC) Sein-peachment. Jerry and Kramer stumble into an impeachment proceeding that's really about nothing.

(CBS) Everybody Loves Impeachment. The family gets lost on the way to the impeachment.

(Fox) America's Scariest Impeachments. Home-video footage of various impeachments gone awry.

(UPN) Impeach Trek. The Borg are driven off by threats of impeachment.

(WB) Buffy the Vampire Impeacher. Buffy agoniozes over whether to impeach Angel.

(USA) Charlie's Impeachers. Three chesty women with narrow waists help impeach the president.

(Lifetime) Charlotte's Impeachers. Three women of normal body types help impeach the president.

(PBS) Sesame Impeachment. Featuring "the Letter I" and whatever number it takes to arrive at impeachment.

(Food Channel) Im-Peach-Mint. Chef Raul prepares various impeachment-inspired dishes.

(Nick) Impeachy-keen. Tommy learns a lesson about peaches.

(Cinemax) We Know Who You Impeached Last Summer (1999). Horror film set in Washington after an impeachment.

(Playboy) Sweet Impeachments. An impeachment is conducted in the nude.

(TLC) Emergency Impeachment. A president is surgically removed from the body politic. (Note: graphic content.)

(ESPN) Impeachment Center. Scores and highlights from the day's impeachments.

(Religion Network) Im-Preach-Ment. Daily prayers for impeachment.

(Sci-Fi Network) The Impeachment Chronicles. The Judiciary Committee moves back and forth in time to conduct impeachments.

(Disney) James and the Giant Impeachment. Animation.

(TBS) Major Indoor Professional Impeaching. Featuring Henry "The Chairman" Hyde and Hillary "The Rodham" Clinton.

(TNT) Attack of the Im-Peach-Men (1967). Movie. Small men dressed as giant peaches attach the president.

(Univision) E! Impeachmentario. Song and dance variety special.

I contacted Rikstaffer regarding his generous offer to install a satelitte receiver, and he refused! He claimed that "offers" was the present tense, and at 3:55 EST he had offered free installation. But now, at 6:30, it was past the time of his offer and at this particular time he was technically no longer offering free installation.

sorry rick, but you'll have to install that dish. offers is definitely grammatically present tense, but it denotes what you generally do. (e.g. you go to work not just at the present moment, but day in day out; you sleep at night as opposed to sleep during the day). so if you offer something, that offer is open until you retract it publicly. if you were offering at a certain moment, i.e. now, you'd have to say is offering now.

As any normal person would define it, Rikstafer's offer was for a "Satallite" not "Satellite". (Spelled with an "A" in the middle, not an "E")

A Satallite, I believe is a Yugoslavian product made from 1970's microwave oven parts and two K-mart steam irons.

So if anyone still wants his offer, I believe you can find it here..www.callmeclinton.com, for a limited time..OK, times up. Sorry.

As a business analyst, I'm sure Rikstafer understands that he has misled many of us here, but I don't think it rises to the level of us kicking him out of the group, as the framers did not have old microwave oven parts in mind when they created Reality Check. Besides, I'm sure 70% of us in the group want him to continue with his presence in the group.

Also, not being a slick lawyer or politician, he would just like to get on with doing the business he was chosen to do (BTW, don't pay any attention to those bombs he dropped on Andi's house, we found traces of DNA there, and we are not going to allow the vast right wing conspiracy to trump up more charges that his pasty white "Satallite's" have been sold over seas to Chinese monks for political contributions)

I am here to state that Dante2 actually did "offer" to sell me a "Satallite" of his own making not less than 2 months ago. I bring this info to the forefront because I believe in the truth... it has nothing to do with the publishers of Reality Check giving me a million hours of log-time...that was just compensation for my heartache.
I have no connection to the group 3 conspiracy, just because they are supportive of my decision to come clean with this information.
I have, however decided (in the interests of truth , justice and the American way) to publish MY account of the 2 year long transactions between Dante2 and myself and everyone can expect that the "official" report will be offered as soon as Judge Barry Joseph is finished writing it.
I presume that the sales relations between Dante2 and alrey2 has been compromised by all this, but perhaps alrey2 and the RealityCheck people will find it in their hearts to forgive seeing as Dante2 is doing the noble, right thing.
Now if only Rik will follow suit.

Max is an evil special Group Person who is only out to "get" me. This extraordinary breach of bipartisanship is based solely on group politics. Now while I maybe, possibly, misled the group a wee bit by offering a satallte system rather than a satellite system, I maintain that my my popularity with the group is at an all-time high. Sure, I may have squandered my stature and diminished myself as a moral figure. So what if I have lost forever the trust needed to lead our group to the end of our four weeks? I feel your pain. Ok, I am really, really sorry. (Rik wags his
finger here at your video cameras) But remember, I never did define what "free" or "members" meant. I did not lie under oath, or even Monica. I will not resign from the Group! My spiritual advisor told me that since I deal with satellite system technology, that I am closer to God than you people.
