Open Letters
Open Letters to President Clinton

November 27, 1998
Zanesville, Ohio

Dear Mr. President,

I have never much liked you as a person or a president. I voted against you in both presidential elections. As a Registered Nurse, I am still fuming at the big can of worms you made out of health care.

My attitude is slowly changing, however. I see you now as a president who has managed to stay elevated above a sea of sewage that surrounds him. I used to think that people like Rush Limbaugh were fairly uncommon. I now know that people willing to wallow in filth, just to get a jab at you, are common as houseflies.

I still don't like you much; but I can honestly say that I dislike you less.

Jeff Emler
