Dear Black Members of Congress,
As an African-American who has been subjected to racism and watched the progress and regression of our people over the last thirty-five years, I find myself feeling embarrassed, saddened and disgusted by your misguided, flag-waving, God bless America loyalty to "Massa" Bill Clinton!
It's apparent that you've totally lost connection with our real history and the real struggle. You've been bought off by a system that is intent on keeping our people at the bottom.
Some of the worst racism I ever experienced in my nearly 50 years on this planet was suffered, during the Vietnam era, when I wore a U.S. Air Force uniform and had my butt on the line for this country! Where's the return on our investment of loyalty? We never even got our 40 acres and a mule.
