I have been reading the posts of other groups over the past couple of weeks. Often, I've wanted to jump in with my contribution to their dialogues. I am particularly interested in Group 12's thread about "How do we survive the coming millenium." I'd recommend that as good reading.
They also have a good thread about God and spirituality. That would be interesting for us, with the range of positions we have on the subject.
As you may have inferred, I am interested in many ideas. I use the analogy of fabric to describe how I see us all woven together. Other groups and our group are both similar and very different, but we are all involved in an experiment in communication, and together we weave the fabric of society.
I'm just feeling my way around now. Graham and Gayle both said that the impeachment hearings were not subjects, or at least not the only subjects, they wanted to discuss.
While at work, I have the opportunity to post, as well as here at home. I fear that my multiple postings today may have created the impression that I want to be in control. Actually, they were the result of a very slow day at work, and the excitement of this new process. I apologize if I've offended or intimidated anyone by my ramblings.
I'll try to be less of an mouth and more ear.
Jim

I'm as excited as you are about this cyberESP form of communication, especially since it's the sharing of information and actual discussions rather than the ranting and flaming that goes on at the other sites. This format is akin to Heaven! Talk away.

For those who you who know what the WELL (Whole Earth 'Lectronic Link) is, this whole form of discussion seems nearly identical, except it's free.
For those of you who don't know what the WELL is, check out http://www.well.com or http://www.wired.com/wired/archive/5.05/ff_well.html for more info. (The WIRED article is long, but worth the read.)

I hadn't heard of WELL prior to this. Thanks for the links.
